Lonely Planet, the respected travel guides publisher, is predicting that Greece will be the top travel destination in Europe for 2014, as the country shows strong signs of bouncing back with another record year for tourists arrivals. Destinations in the ‘Best in Europe’ Top 10 list are chosen for being either ‘under-the-radar,’ generating buzz, or for being perennial favorites with reasons to visit in 2014 – we can confirm that Greece can offer numerous destinations that qualify for one or more of the above reasons.
The assessment concerns the evaluation of microbiological parameters in more than 2150 sampling points across Greece and the statistical analysis of the results over a 4 year period.
