The villa is designed under the request of a British couple that will use the house as their primary residence. The request was for a spacious house to enjoy the views and the landscape.

The plot is on the hill side on the main road from Nafplio city to Astros town. Our design approach was to create a house surrounded by a series of external spaces with different qualities (covered / shaded / open air) to enjoy the mild climate of the area and Mediterranean lifestyle. All spaces enjoy unobstructed views, having vast glass openings towards the sea, while all have access to external verandas.

The shape of the building forms an “internal” courtyard protected from the traffic noise and shaded by a pergola. The courtyard continues on to the BBQ and pool areas.

The main ground level houses all internal and external “public” spaces including the courtyard, the pool area, the villa entrance, a guest room and a WC. The upper floor houses the “private” spaces, i.e. the master bedroom en-suite & walking in dressing room, an office, an extra bathroom and a private roof top veranda.

The building also offers a spacious garage and storage spaces.
