The design is for a luxury 550m² villa in the area of Agia Kyriaki in Antiparos Island, Cyclades.

The plot is a rare 6000 square meter land, very close to the sea, on the hill side of the main road from Antiparos chora to Soros. The building is placed off center and on an angle to the main road, to “avoid” the neighboring building towards the sea, while facing the sea views and opening to the south sun.

The concept is to carefully place a series of buildings and structures, a constellation, in order to create a unique “place” to enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. Single storey volumes including the main house, a separate guest house, a garage and an external BBQ area, are strategically placed to form and ‘protect” the main external courtyard.

The design offers 4 en-suite bedrooms at the main house, internal and external living and dining areas, internal and external kitchen, a playroom, a garage, storage and a guest house with two en-suite bedrooms.  All main spaces are placed on the ground floor enjoying unobstructed sea views, while one bedroom, a staff room and the playroom are on the lower level that is naturally lit by an atrium.

An access road runs through the back of the plot, leading the open parking area and villa entrance courtyard. The entrance lobby is placed at the center of the house giving direct access to an internal / external corridor that leads to all different spaces.
